Social Work
Overview
Master of Social Work (MSW) students at SIUE experience unique learning opportunities by not only learning in a traditional classroom setting, but also learning through involvement in community-engaged scholarship and activities. MSW students regularly work with agencies and organizations, assisting with service provision, program development, and advocacy on behalf of individuals and families experiencing health and mental health concerns, homelessness, poverty and other social justice vulnerabilities.
Program Format
Most courses are offered in face-to-face formats. Classes may be offered in an online or blended/hybrid format at the discretion of the course instructor. Most courses are offered in evening formats, but this is subject to change based on multiple scheduling variables.
